Mixed reviews from friends and neighbours were to be born out.
A drink downstairs in a somewhat cluttered bar but moved up to the spacious first floor dining level and a large ROUND table, a big bonus for 8 people wanting a social evening.
The mains for 4 arrived, a fifth was replaced as it was incorrect, 2 steaks were returned, and eventually came out with meal 8 as the others finished. Food was pretty much what I expected of a chain and was reasonable value, do not go expecting top quality food.
Service was not as bad as I had been led to believe, staff were all pleasant and accommodating and I am sure will only get better.
4 stars may have been achieved if 8 people could have eaten together.
